SMALL ENGINES WITH EASILY ACCESSED FUEL TANKS
for example motorcycles, lawnmowers, garden machinery, outboard motors and small generators…
Carbonflo can normally be dropped directly in to the fuel tanks supplying small engines, meaning that fitting takes minutes or even seconds.**
Carbonflo can give valuable fuel efficiency gains in any engine.
When it comes to small engines however there are two reasons why the case for Carbonflo is even stronger.
1) Fitting can normally be done in minutes, if not seconds, simply by inserting tank units into the tank.
(**Even when the fitting job is simple, fuel is always hazardous therefore if in any doubt as to safety we always recommend that Carbonflo is fitted by a suitably qualified technician)
2) Many small engines are only used seasonally, often giving rise to expensive problems that the catalyst can alleviate or solve.
Specifically, when engines are left unused for months on end, the fuel stored in the tank may become of poor quality due to waxing, gumming, and, in the case of diesel, ‘fuel bug’ – – in many cases eventually making the engine hard or impossible to start.
This is all due to water contamination of the stored fuel, however fuel catalyst technology can ease or solve the problems by its action of breaking water in fuel down into hydrogen and oxygen.
Carbonflo was recently tested by Somerton Motorcycle Engineering and showed an immediate increase in brake horse power (BHP) and Torque – see the results on our latest blog post
The simple act of dropping the catalyst in a fuel tank will inhibit waxing, gumming and ‘fuel bug’ affecting fuel in the tank. To protect against these problems affecting fuel in the carburettor for example it will be necessary to run the machine after fitting Carbonflo
